We are happy to have our Residents here, and like to celebrate them any chance we get. That includes celebrating the day they were born. So, on a Resident’s birthday, they each get a gift picked out just for them to open, and a lively chorus of “Happy Birthday” sung by Little Sisters and other Residents. We like them to know how special they are!
Then once a month we have a group party for everyone with a birthday that month. We like to have themed parties sometimes, so recently we chose a western theme for the month’s celebrants. Everyone really enjoyed picking out their cowboy hats and scarves to wear. It was great fun!
