St. Joseph’s Day

By March 21, 2024August 26th, 2024No Comments

Tuesday, March 19 was a special day for us here at the Jeanne Jugan Center. It was the feast day of Saint Joseph, and as you may know, he is very special to the Little Sisters.

Saint Jeanne Jugan, the first Little Sister, had a special fondness for Saint Joseph. In fact, she chose him as the protector and provider of the order. To this day, whenever we have a need, we ask for St. Joseph’s intercession. He has never failed us!

We were happy to celebrate the day with Bishop Johnston, who kindly came and celebrated Mass for us. He also stayed and visited with the Residents over dinner, much to their delight. It was a lovely day, and we are grateful to the Bishop for sharing it with us.
