St. Patrick’s Day Fun

By March 19, 2026No Comments

On Tuesday, our Residents and their families celebrated St. Patrick’s Day here at our Home. The Residents gathered in our dining room with the Little Sisters to hear big band renditions of popular Irish songs while being served snacks and traditional Irish drinks by our student volunteers. Many of our Residents enjoyed dancing, singing, or reminiscing about their own Irish heritage. Even some of the Little Sisters were seen wearing green!

St. Patrick’s Day is brief reprieve from Lent where we get to celebrate the coming of Christianity to Ireland and the many blessings bestowed on the world by the Irish people and its saints. Let us invoke the intercession of St. Patrick, the Enlightener of Ireland, and ask him to bless our Home and our Residents.
